- Title
THE DEADLY SINS IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION.
- Authors
Drucker, Peter F.
- Abstract
This article explores the reasons for non-performance in public administration. It cites among others, the failure of a program to meet its objectives, trying several things at once, believing about the fallacy of throwing money at problems, making experiments in solving problems, making sure that one does not learn from experiments and the inability to abandon. Avoidance of these deadly sins does not guarantee performance and results in the public service organization, but avoiding these sins is the prerequisite for performance and results. But the malperformance of the public service institution is a contributing factor to the sickness of government.
