- Title
"STAY WITH US…" (LK 24:29)--"COME, LORD JESUS" (REV 22:20): INCARNATION, ESCHATOLOGY, AND THEOLOGY'S SWEET PREDICAMENT.
- Authors
Godzieba, Anthony J.
- Abstract
The article presents the author's contention that the fundamental theological principle of Catholic theology is that it must be both incarnational and eschatological. The author argued elsewhere that a strong theology of the resurrection of Jesus, coupled with some contemporary theories of the body, can lead us to an eschatologically-attuned theological anthropology. Theology driven by the incarnational imagination will recognize the dignity and truth of the particular.
