- Abstract
The article examines the depiction of sensual pleasure in Old Norse Arthurian romance. Topics discussed include an analysis of the style of Icelandic sagas, particularly the scene from "Tristrams saga." Also discussed is the state of the study of sensory perception in the medieval period and an analysis of the narrative of the Icelandic family sagas "Íslendingasögur" and "konungasögur."
