- Abstract
The article presents a profile of the critical writings, aesthetics and arguments of the early 20th-century Danish architect and journalist Poul Henningsen. Introductory details are given identifying major characteristics of Henningsen's work and writings. Analysis is then offered regarding Henningsen's active critical influence on Denmark's avant-garde art movement during the 1920s and 1930s, his ideological views of cubism, and his dual career as a critic and artist.
