- Title
II. PROCEDURES.
- Abstract
The article discusses the procedures used to gather the data on assertive behavior in children and how it might lead to aggression, from two nursery schools in Eugene Oregon. At the start of the study, the children ranged in age from 34 to 46 month. The schools are similar with regards to facilities, the teachers' educational backgrounds, and in the area where they were situated. The schools were nonsectarian but the are both located in church buildings. Observations were made on the aggressor's behavior, the target's response-consequences, and teacher intervention.
