- Title
MEDITATING ON COMPLICATED GRIEF DISORDER AS A DIAGNOSIS.
- Authors
HOROWITZ, MARDI
- Abstract
The article presents an argument on the diagnosis of complicated grief. Although the diagnosis can lead to the stigmatization of the normative crisis of the human condition, the patient can access professional clinical help. A part of the argument can be resolved by not relying on self report scales. Clinicians can observe the patients and conduct salient interviews which could meet criteria for a complicated grief disorder.
