- Abstract
The subject of the study is the views of Ibn Turkah, one of the prominent representatives of the mystical tradition in the fifteenth century and also one of the followers of Ibn al-Arabi. The subject has been prepared based on Ibn Turkah's thoughts on existence and the levels of being. Although the study is generally handled within the framework of Ibn Turkah's views, the thoughts of Ibn al-Arabi and his commentators, which have a great influence on his views on metaphysics, are also mentioned. In this study based on primary sources, the works of Ibn Turkah and important representatives of the Akbarian tradition were referred. The aim of the study is to reveal an original study that can answer basic questions such as what is the truth of existence in the world, where the essence of human beings comes from, by addressing the idea of being, one of the most important issues of Sufism philosophy as well as philosophy and kalam, within the framework of Ibn Turkah's views. With this study, it has been concluded that being is one and only truth, everything that emerges in the visible world overflowing from the Truth is a manifestation of His names and attributes, although all visible beings seem to be separate from the Truth, they are actually is in an infinite spin, so many beings originating from a single entity are essentially non-existent and the real being is God.
