The article presents a case study of a 67-year-old man with history of myocardial infarctions who was referred to a sleep clinic for his poor sleep quality, excessive daytime sleepiness (EDS), and fatigue. It mentions that patients with heart failure (HF) may have obstructive and central sleep apneas (CSA). Topics include positive airway pressure (PAP), monoventricular assist device (VAD), and Cheyne-Stokes breathing (CSB).
