- Abstract
Introduction/Problematization: Entrepreneurship as a social phenomenon began to be observed and studied in a systematic way from the 18th century on. Since then, almost three hundred years have passed and configured the multidisciplinarity of the theme. Where, researchers armed with different analytical lenses have engaged and continue to engage scientific efforts to understand and advance the discussion on the topic. Historically, it has been observed from the perspective of Economics, Sociology, Psychology, Administration and, more recently, from the perspective of education through Entrepreneurship Education at different levels of education. Objective/Proposal: From this angle, it is proposed to answer the following research question: "what is the profile of the scientific production that deals with Entrepreneurship Education in Brazilian graduate studies? Thus, it aims to characterize the profile of the scientific production that deals with Entrepreneurship Education between the year 2010 and the first half of 2021, in the Catalogue of Theses and Dissertations of CAPES - Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel. Methodological Procedures: We adopted the bibliometric analysis configured through the execution of eight steps: i) definition of the scope: Entrepreneurship Education; ii) establishment of the base: Capes' Catalog of Theses and Dissertations; iii) definition of the analyzed interval: 2010 to the first semester of 2021; iv) choice of the terms: "entrepreneurial education"; v) collecting and grouping the data; vi) exclusion of unrelated works; vii) reading the material, registering and organizing the data; viii) analyzing the data, constructing the information and presenting the results. Main Results: As main findings observed that the most prolific years of the topic Entrepreneurship Education were from 2016 to 2018. That the topic was addressed in 81 dissertations, 12 theses and 3 papers fall under product, process or technique and teaching/instructional material. Also, that programs linked to the areas of administration and education concentrate most of the production, covering 61 educational institutions, located in the Southeast and Northeast regions and, further, that predominated studies in higher education, aspects and pedagogical practices of entrepreneurship education the topics most addressed. Final Considerations/Conclusion: It was characterized that in the scientific production dealing with Entrepreneurship Education in graduate studies the minority of works explore other forms of final work, creating a gap for new formats. That most HEIs had one paper, suggesting discontinuity of the agenda linked to the topic. As well as that research at the high school, elementary school and basic education levels, studies conducted in the North and Midwest and research on the contributions of EE to local development, citizen formation and intrapreneurship are still little explored. Contributions of the Work: Construction of the profile of scientific research on Entrepreneurship Education carried out by Brazilian post-graduates and identification of gaps inherent to the topic, whether linked to key issues less investigated, levels of education related to EE little studied, and even Brazilian regions with little interest in the topic.
