- Abstract
Countries with high density levels definitely need a lot of places to live. Hydroponics using nonsoil media is one solution. Indoor hydroponics requires a substitute for sunlight. Therefore, this research develops a system to control the light intensity of hydroponic plants with an innovative method. This tool adjusts the light conditions in the room and the output power according to the light intensity of the hydroponic lamp through a fuzzy logic controller process. The error rate for sensor data from Bh1750 is about 4.05%. When the actuator value is increased, the dimmer device also increases linearly. However, the numbers are unstable between 1 to 10, and over 80. Due to the persistently high increments and persistently low decreases, the output becomes unstable during testing of the fuzzy system at low set points. But at a high set point, the system manages to adjust it to the correct value. Rise time 0.37 seconds, SettlingMin 173.3300 lux, SettlingMax 945.83 lux, Overshoot 57.8%, and Peak 956.7 lux, all values above are at a set point of 600. Plants have wider leaves and taller stems when given a high set point, compared when given a low set point.
