- Abstract
The critical analysis of academic production can contribute to improving the quality of research in Education. For this reason, this article presents a review of the scientific productions from 2014 to 2019 of Graduate Program in Education from Higher Education Research line in a University located in the Sorocaba region. The analysis of the internal structures of scientific productions aims to recognize the epistemological characteristics and its respective methodological approaches based on Gamboa's paradigmatic scheme (1998). The content of 34 scientific productions was analyzed. It was considered the following categorization of the works: the context; o research topics and modality; the techniques of data collection by identification of the basic components of the structure of scientific work. The study carried out highlighted the predominance of qualitative research with the Phenomenological-Hermeneutics approach (47%) followed by the Critical-Dialectic approach (32%), compared to 21% with a quantitative approach classified as Empirical-Analytical.
