- Abstract
The motion pair clearance composed of the orbiting scroll and the Oldham’s coupling is easy to cause vibration and impact of the scroll compressor. The dynamic simulation of the orbiting scroll and the Oldham’s coupling was carried out under the condition of low rotational speed. The reason for the impact of the Oldham’s coupling and the orbiting scroll was revealed. The wear between the moving pair increased the impact between the Oldham’s coupling and the orbiting scroll, the wear characteristics of the Oldham’s coupling and the orbiting scroll during the working process of the scroll compressor were experimentally studied, so as to predict the working life of the scroll compressor. It is found that the impact of the Oldham’s coupling key on the frame keyway is more severe than it on the orbiting scroll keyway, and the motion pair clearance composed of the Oldham’s coupling and the orbiting scroll keyway has a significant positive correlation with the rotation phenomenon of the orbiting scroll, excessive rotation of the orbiting scroll can easily lead to the interference of the scroll teeth. When the contact angle between the Oldham’s coupling key and the orbiting scroll keyway is worn to 5.443°, the average angular velocity of the orbiting scroll in the x and y axes increases by about 120% compared with the ideal state, and the first interference phenomenon of the scroll teeth is about to occur at this time.
