- Abstract
Mesenteric cyst is a rare entity with an incidence of 1/250,000, and the sacrococcygeal form is the most frequent. On the other hand, ovarian teratomas have a higher incidence. We report the case of a female patient who presents with a 24 hour nonspecific abdominal pain. The diagnosis of ovarian teratoma was done with imaging studies. During the surgical intervention a mesenteric cyst was incidentally found. Ovarian teratoma and mesenteric cyst are entities that require adequate clinical examination and complementary studies to be diagnosed since both have nonspecific clinical features.
