An editorial is presented on Digital Futures' tenth anniversary which being undergraduate and graduate degree programmes and extended Canadian and international network of faculty, students, researchers, alumni, public–private sector, and community partner. Topics include maintaining an open and flexible approach towards creativity as a way of thinking in digital culture and futures; and inherent in methods like improvisation, prototyping, co-creation, and speculation.
