- Abstract
The article discusses the significance of energy benchmarking strategies for energy consumption. It focuses on the utilization of actual energy performance following project completion to better serve the energy industry. It points out that Appendix G of Standard 90.1-2007 compels that building geometry between the proposed models and baseline should be exactly alike. It suggests the development of a national energy simulation tool to comply with performance based energy code.
