- Title
Survey: A/E Insurance Rates Showing Downward Trend.
- Abstract
The article presents a survey for A/E insurance companies expecting a 12-month-reduction of liability insurance premiums for architects and engineers. Findings showed that the surplus collected during the first six months of the year, the stable to decreasing frequency of claims, and "the higher the risk the higher the rate rule" helped the companies maintain insurance rates. Moreover, A/E companies stress the major issues the industry manage which include shared designs in the Internet, housing claims, cost recovery claims.
