- Title
ABRAM'S PERSISTENT FAITH: HEBREW VERB SEMANTICS IN GENESIS 15:6.
- Authors
ROGLAND, MAX
- Abstract
The author discusses the Genesis 15:6 which refers to Abram's righteousness, and offers an explanation of Biblical Hebrew verb usage for his thesis. From his analysis of Hebrew and Greek biblical semantics, he concludes that Abram was already righteous in the eyes of God prior to the time in the verse, not at that very time connoted. The author believes in Abram's unwavering faith in God despite his questions of Him, questions the author regards as those of bewilderment rather than of doubt.
