The article presents a case study which examined the antimicrobial properties of infant clothing. Among the test methods used to test the antibacterial and antifungal properties of textile materials include the parallel streak, the mildew and rot resistance of textiles and anitbacterial finishes on textiles. The study found that all the categories of infant clothing samples used are not antimicrobial in nature but one sample has good antibacterial property.
