- Authors
Taylor, R. E.; Forman, D. W.; Greig, C.; Parry, G. S.
- Abstract
The article offers information on the habitat, food sources and behaviour of the Eurasian otter or Lutra lutra. It states that the animal is the only native species of otter in Great Britain which can be seen in fresh water and marine habitats. It mentions that otters are generalist predators since they ate a variety of species including insects, birds and fish. It notes that the data of their preys were collected through their sprints from rivers between January 2005 and December 2007.
