- Abstract
The article presents a case study of molluscum contagiosum diagnosis in a 24-year-old woman with a lesion of the left nipple. Histologic examination of a hematoxylin and eosin-stained slide revealed a squamous epithelium with a parabasal cell layer. The article discusses molluscum contagiosum, a virus that causes benign and self-limiting skin infections.
