- Abstract
The article presents the case study of 8-month-old American female with 7 days of constipation, 2 days of decreased urine output, and 1 day of lethargy. Topics include past medical history was signifcant for constipation, and diet consisted of breast milk and table foods; and initial laboratory workup being notable for hyperchloremia, hypocarbia, hypocalcemia, and elevated alkaline phosphatase.
