- Authors
Kane, Daniel
- Abstract
An essay is presented on "Angel Hair Sleeps With a Boy in My Head: The Angel Hair Anthology," an anthology of material from "Angel Hair" magazine. According to the author, it presents an avant-garde movement whose influence continues in New York and national avant-garde circles. Particular attention is given to "second-generation" poets of the mid-20th century in the anthology such as Ted Berrigan, Ron Padgett, and Dick Gallup and their "poetics of sociability" displayed through communal writing.
