- Abstract
This article discusses the Israeli government's proposed reform of the legal system, which has sparked controversy and debate. The special issue of the Israel Law Review includes 16 articles by constitutional law experts, providing in-depth perspectives on the constitutional crisis and the potential consequences of the government's initiatives. The government has already legislated some components of the plan, including restrictions on judicial review, which are being contested before the Supreme Court. The articles in this special issue also offer comparative perspectives that may be relevant to other countries facing similar challenges.
