- Abstract
The article "Representation and Mystery in the Middle Ages and Early Modern Period" summarizes the results of an international conference that dealt with the topic of mystery and riddles in literature, philosophy, and science. The publication shows that there are overlaps and intersections between the concepts of the mysterious and enigmatic. The contributions in the conference proceedings examine various literary works and demonstrate how mysteries and riddles are used as forms of representation. The volume also addresses aspects such as the Holy Grail, mysticism, Freemasonry, and alchemy. The authors provide a scholarly and accessible insight into these areas of study.
