- Abstract
The article presents a clinical research study that examined the efficacy and safety of a tablet containing the drugs sumatriptan succinate and naproxen sodium relative compared to the efficacy and safety of each drug alone or a placebo for the treatment of migraine. Outcomes measured in the study included the relief of headache after treatment and the absence of photophobia, phonophobia, and nausea. The authors concluded that a drug containing both sumatriptan and naproxen was more efficacious than either monotherapy and did not cause adverse effects.
