- Abstract
The article presents the case of a disoriented 24-year-old female student who was presented with fluctuating fever and acute mutism. After initial treatment for meningoencephalitis, she was reported to be unable to maintain a single position for longer than 10 seconds following two weeks of treatment. She was diagnosed with movement disorder likely due to post-inflammatory lesions in the basal ganglia.
