- Abstract
The author discusses his experiences teaching English legal history to students. He describes the vision and outline of his course on the intellectual history of the law and the origins and evolution of the common law, the use of the text "An Introduction to English Legal History" by J.H. Baker, and opening his class up to non-law school students. He also discusses modifications made to the course, including the use of computers to translate texts written in medieval Latin or Law French.
