- Abstract
The article discusses a rare complication of severe urinary tract obstruction. Urinoma as a consequence of urine extravasation, usually found in the fetus and the newborn, can also be caused by traumatic tract injuries in adults, while retroperitoneal fibrosis is an uncommon disease typified by chronic inflammation with progressive fibrosis of structures in the retroperitoneum. The rare case is summed up as perinephric urinoma secondary to idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis.
