- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 74-year-old man with lef hand swelling and pain. Topics include computed tomographic scan of the left upper extremity revealing subcutaneous edema and infammatory changes with fascial thickening throughout the hand and forearm; and escalating vasopressor requirement, acute respiratory failure, hypothermia, and acute liver and renal failure.
