- Abstract
The article presents the author's insights on various issues related to Electoral College in the U.S. The author is critical on the benefits and importance of the Electoral College, wherein he notes that state legislatures should analyze the cost before overthrowing the Electoral College in favor a national popular vote. He mentions that a popular vote would demand a national recount. He adds that electors might have to cast their votes for the other side even a candidate carries the state.
