- Abstract
The article analyzes on the impact of Private Securities Litigation Reform Act (PSLRA) and on the type of complaint under the reform of the securities class actions. It provides information whether the type of plaintiff that leads the class action affects the overall result of case action. Furthermore, it explores on the possible signs that explains the reason of provable loss suffered by the class to the asset size of the defendant company and to other settlements cited in the article and how the PSLRA changed securities fraud settlements. It conlcudes that the data presented provides reassurance that the PLSRA is working according to its function.
