The article focuses on contemporary historians' perspectives on the theories of democracy espoused by the Founders and theory supports the need to have developed a framework for responding to electoral disputes. It mentions need to develop a framework for resolving disputed elections in the theories of democracy. It also mentions ability of the U.S. Congress with the ability to judge the elections and returns of its members for resolving disputes.
