- Abstract
The article provides information on a study which estimated stand attributes of complex forest types in subtropical mountain environments by using the shadow fraction method and high dynamic range image analysis method in a mountainous environment with complex forest types. Topics discussed include examination whether the shadow fraction method can provide an accurate estimate of the stand attributes and effect of normalization of the tree shadow fraction on forest attribute estimation.
