- Abstract
The author discusses the significance of involving children in mediation of child custody cases in light of her own experiences during her parents divorce. She highlights the steps of Australian model of child-inclusive mediation approach and compares it with the U.S. model. She describes the ways to identify divorce cases were child-inclusive mediation is possible and reflects that such mediation helps in protecting the privacy of the litigants and minimizes the harm to their children.
