- Abstract
The article focuses on the Huaorani whose were the natives Yasuni, place in Ecuador's Amazon region were first contacted by Summer Institute of Linguistics and Wycliffe Bible Translators (SIL/WBT). It analyzes that oil discovery was made at Chevron, place near Huaorani territory and therefore outsiders try to invade Huaorani. It determines that Huaorani assaulted to defend their remaining lands, way of life, and self-determination and fought for conservation of the Amazon region.
