- Abstract
The article explores the reforms in the history of the American juvenile correction court. Revisions were made in an effort to preserve the prison system against a clamor for a return to the use of the gallows. In the 19th -century, the introduction of non-punitive set of correcting institutions resulted to a significant change in the judicial experience of juvenile offenders. Juvenie court Judge Ben B. Lindsey played a role in changing the administration of justice in Denver, Colorado.
