Abstract
The article presents statistical information on writers of the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination (CRNE) which provides a snapshot of new nurses who will enter the nursing workforce in Canada from the "CRNE Bulletin." It says that a total of 6,003 candidates wrote the examination for the first time in 2005. Also mentioned are the top source countries for first-time CRNE writers, including India. It adds that 5,823 out of 6,890 first-time and repeat writers passed the CRNE in 2005.
