- Abstract
The article presents a study on the potential of social networking community (SNC) websites to promote literacy and competence among intermediate language learners. It says that through social networks, learners are engaged with lignuistic analysis like vocabulary selection and greetings. The study shows that the use of social networks has improved the socio-pragmatic competence and awareness.
