- Abstract
As part of the Québec-based intiative of the École éloignée en réseau (ÉÉR), a web-based technological and educational coaching system allowed teachers who were developing new educational practices in science and technology to receive support when they needed it and wherever they were located. This article presents the results of a case study of a group of elementary school teachers who used this networked support model to help them implement a networked, collaborative approach for teaching the scientific process. The results show the relevance and the effectiveness of this new way of doing things, both for the teachers who are developing their practices and for the coaching researchers who contribute their input on the questions raised.
