- Title
Non‐aqueous magnetization following adiabatic and selective pulses in brain: T1 and cross‐relaxation dynamics.

- Abstract
Reynolds et al. used an adiabatic pulse as typically used on a clinical scanner and a soft sinc pulse for comparison, and also used the higher RF power available from the spectrometer to record after a short, hard inversion pulse. Non-aqueous magnetization following adiabatic and selective pulses in brain: T1 and cross-relaxation dynamics Quantitative magnetization transfer (qMT) MRI models tissue as consisting of a free (water) and a bound (lipid or macromolecular) pool (compartment), which may exchange longitudinal magnetization.
