- Abstract
The article titled "Cognitive Stimulation Supported by Canine-Assisted Interventions in Older Adults" presents an integrative study that aims to evaluate the effects of an Animal-Assisted Intervention (AAI) in Colombian adults aged between 60 and 80 years old. The study seeks to provide cognitive stimulation in the areas of attention and memory in older individuals with mild cognitive impairment, using canines as reinforcement in a therapeutic intervention. On the other hand, the article also addresses trigeminal neuralgia, a condition that causes craniofacial neuropathic pain, and a scoping review is conducted to elucidate the effectiveness of transcranial stimulation in relieving pain in patients with this condition.
