- Abstract
After a first article printed in December 2019, in which we presented an independent and probono work of collection, being carried out since January 2018, we observed that the themes that unfolded themselves in each story, at each step of the moments of multiplied recollections, continued to be of an unbeatable wealth and influencing writers and other Mozambican artists, since they were inherent to their own Identity, following the metamorphoses of a continuous ancestral oral record. In the first article we covered the following themes: The Phantom who hitchhikes, Guira (luminous phenomena), N'Pogore (whitish threads), Chipoko / Chipokwo (humanoid shadows and silhouettes), Anapaches and Tokoloshes (evil dwarves), Djin / Jeny / Geny (Geniuses, demons created by God) and Mythical Figures (Saidi Rahman, Gungunhana, Mahambaetu / Mahambaeti, Ancestral Giants). In this article we now cover some more themes, such as: Sacred Places (ponds, trees, and tombs), Mythical Figures (Men Birds, the Niaus), and Passage Places, Wizards and its metamorphoses and finally Presumably Inexplicable Phenomena (Strange Lights, Ghost Drums’). It will be very natural for other themes to emerge from this team and pro-bono effort of all participants committed to these designs, it is worth mentioning.
