- Abstract
The article presents a study on the implication of select insecticides on the nesting success of robins and mourning doves. The study used acephate, carbaryl, and diazinon which applied on the nesting sites of the birds on private properties in the Winnebago, Outagamie, and Calumet counties in Wisconsin. The results showed that the application of acephate and carbaryl does not affect the hatching success or fledging rates of mourning doves and robins.
