- Abstract
The article presents a study of the 14C nitrofen (2,4-dichlorophenyl 4'-nitrophenyl ether) in the ecosystem of rice paddy. It says that a rapid degradation was seen in nitrofen at day-120, with only 6.07% recovery, which may be influenced by volatilization, mineralization, and other factors. It states that nitrofen residues do not undergo bioaccumulation, with the low, extractable and bound residues found in fish, snail, and algae.
