- Abstract
The article presents a study which explored the persistence of [14C]metsulfuron methyl and [14C]chlorsulfuron herbicides in prairie soils which are under laboratory conditions. The study made use of the physical properties and composition of the sandy loam, clay, and clay loam. Results indicate the ability of sulfometuron methyl and chlorsulfuron to go through extensive leaching in field conditions.
