The article focuses on analysis of the Supreme Court of Canada's decision regarding copyright dispute between Google and Equustek Solutions with assessment of data protection law conditions. Topics discussed include illustration of Google's involvement in blocking sites in searches associated with Datalink under infringement issue with Equustek; assessment of decision against freedom of expression; and consideration of data protection lawsuit for the issue.
