- Abstract
The versatile chemical hydrocarbon compositions of crude oil and petroleum products as well as petroleum waste products provide possibilities to synthesize many inhibitors or additives from them. The present paper reports the synthesis of a complex oil-soluble inhibitor and the establishment of the optimal content of each of the individual components without disturbing their stability in the solution and at the same time to obtain the maximal protective effect. The obtained results show that in the obtained preservative oil additives having donor, acceptor and shielding properties are selected in a suitable combination. Due to the fact that in practice the requirements for the application of preservative oils are not regulated, the lowest concentration of the cathode inhibitor is also appropriate. However, its use in this case in a concentration above 0.2% is inappropriate, as the protective properties of the preservative oil are slightly increased.
