- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 64-year-old woman discovered to have a white mass gradually growing on her left eye which was later diagnosed as a bacterial infection caused by the Corynebacterium specie. The organism was observed to be resistant to erythromycin, chloramphenicol and levofloxacin. The patient was treated with an alternative regimen of drugs that included 0.3% cefmenoxime, 0.3% gatifloxacin, and natamycin.
