- Abstract
Different fading propagation channels in cognitive vehicular network affect the performance of spectrum sensing. In order to illustrate a general description of performance of spectrum sensing under different fading channels, detection probabilities of single-user energy and cooperative energy are analyzed under the conditions of additive white Gaussian noise(AWGN) channel and Rayleigh fading channel as well as Nakagami-m fading channel, with emphasis on the influence of such parameters as fading factor, number of secondary vehicles and signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) concerning the Nakagami-m fading channel on the performance of cooperative spectrum. Simulated results show that the accurate understanding of different channel characteristics can be helpful to improve the detection probability of spectrum between vehicles under different fading channel environment.
