- Abstract
The process of self-packing of mineral-polystyrene mixtures within the closed space of a perforated mold is considered. A model for liquid filtration in a porous medium is proposed. To prevent removal of the solid phase from the mixture by the liquid flow during filtration, the volume of fine-grained fractions should roughly be 0.3 the volume of coarse-grained fraction.
